Hold on to your pants! Almost EVERYTHING has been updated!! Check the "Gallery" 2006 later pages to see my most recent artworks. Under "About" there's a new section for Writings which currently features my Art Research Paper on Pleasantville. I also updated my Bio, Resume, and more!! If you're wondering how my first term at USF went--straight A's, baby!! Next semester I'm enrolled in Intermediate Drawing and Electronic Media, Literature and the Occult, Real [Art] World, and Video & Projection Arts 1960 - present = 16 credit hours!! |

Update!! First, HAPPY Thanksgiving!!! Second, sorry for the lack of updates!! Finals are approaching fast and once the semester is over I will do a FULL update on the gallery section and also include a new Writings section in regards to some papers I have aced in Art Theory/Philosophy. Update!! Midterms are approaching fast for my classes at USF! It's amazing how time flies; however, that doesn't make the experience any easier. In fact, this semester has been my most difficult to date and I find it flying by TOO fast as I struggle to manage being a student and an employee. (I should have taken the offered loans and quit my job...) In regards to grades, I am doing quite well. I am very fond of all of my courses and most of the teachers. I updated my resume and gallery with some recent works. Make sure you check those out! Also, reminder: the Visions exhibition opening reception is Thursday, October 5th starting at 6:00pm at the New Tampa Regional Library. Hope to see you there! |

August 28th, classes start up at USF! I'm excited to finally be a USF student enrolled in the BFA Program with a focus in Studio Arts. This Fall semester, I'm enrolled in 17 credit hours (full time+!) including my cross-enrollment with one course at HCC. I'm very thankful the Tampa USF campus is 5 minutes from home and I look forward to the Paris Art Trip!! My courses include: 20th Cent. Bill Burtnett's most recent works will be displayed August 21st - September 29th at Hillsborough Community College's Visual Arts Building, on the first and second floors. A special reception with the artist will be held Tuesday, Sept. 12th from 5:00pm - 8:00pm, where he will discuss his style and technique which utilizes hot wax and resin. August 5th & 6th, MOSI, the Museum of Science and Industry in Tampa, will be celebrating the opening of Disasterville, an exhibit on the science of natural disasters. Many on site activities are in store for this event which will bring thousands of visitors from all over Tampa.
